Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

As I understand the graphics card requires an upgrade,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

Are you upgrading your graphics card along with the Power Supply Unit?

While you respond to that, here's what you need to know:

The MSI Graphics card you've mentioned requires:

A Recommended PSU of 300 W

While your computer offers a maximum of 180W.

Click here to view your motherboard specifications based on this you have:

  • One PCI Express x16 (Gen 3.0)

  • One PCI Express x1 (Gen 2.0)

Available for adding the graphics card, however, most cards do not support 180W, you may want to upgrade the PSU as well for installing better graphics card according to what you need the upgrade for.

Keep me posted,

If the information I've provided was helpful,

give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,

that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Good Luck.
