I cant seem to turn on my new 795-0039c desk top. When I press the on button the fans just pulse on and off,  the cd door will not open. Also I cant turn off the fans with the off button.

@NapCan,

How new is this unit?

What is in the CD drive?  Regardless, if you follow some instructions:

1) If something is in the CD drive, Unplug the power cord from the back of the unit.  Hold down the power button for 45 seconds. There should be a tiny pinhole on the face of the drive. Using a thin paperclip insert into hole. Drawer should open slightly.

2) Unplug the power cord from the back of the unit.  Hold down the power button for 45 seconds.  Plug back power cord, attempt to boot system.

3)  Remove side panel. If above (#1) did not clear the CD drive, unplug power from DVD/CD drive.Plug back power cord, attempt to boot system.

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..
