Pavilion All-in-One - 24-r159c
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I lost the usb adapter for my HP Keyboard and mouse to work with my AIO PC.

Any suggestions for replacement adapter or any other solution than replacing this keyboard and mouse ?

@Rock51 -- is this your computer: HP Pavilion 24-r159c All-in-One Desktop PC Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support

That web-page indicates that your computer supports Bluetooth.

So, if you purchase a new keyboard and mouse, select Bluetooth-capable units.

The advantage is that you can never "lose" the Bluetooth adapter inside your computer.  🙂

There is the possibility that a replacement can be found

If your hp mouse & keyboard & dongle are "link-5" then you can get a replacement here.  Be sure to look for the link logo.

I have bought from AliExpress before but only when I was unable to find a part elsewhere.   Shipping back the wrong part is cost prohibitive.  I looked through the HP parts surfer for the link-5 receiver but was unable to find one.

If not link-5 then there is the possibility of having them look up the keyboard & mouse ID and finding a matching USB receiver here.  Your option but I would just get a cheap new kit and use bluetooth as @itsmyname recommended.

Good Luck!

Thanks a lot for your quick response....will try and look for link 5 option and keep you posted

Yes that is my computer.....will try this option but was really hoping to use the current Keyboard and Mouse. It is quite unfortunate that the manufacturer will make this hardware dependent and useless based on a small dongle that if lost can not be replaced:(

Good option suggested and truly appreciate a quick response.
