I have an a6750y desktop that was upgraded from Win Vista to Win 7 a year ago. Yesterday it shut down by itself and now will not restart even in "safe" mode. I have run diagnostic Tools and everything passed. I tried to reboot with a wiin7 disk but nothing happened. The only keys I have been able to make work are "Esc. boot path" "F10 the set up" and "F9 Diagnostics". other than those key options my screen just goes to black with a white curser in the upper left corner. Microsoft said to contact you after spending hours with me yesterday on the phone trying to reboot my computer. HELP Patty

I believe that you may have a failed power supply unit (PSU). Here is a guide to help you troubleshoot the problem.
