My computer is an HP All-in-One, model 22-DG0034. I want to add a monitor arm to it, but it doesn’t have a VESA mount. I’m not sure how to find the correct VESA mount adapter size for this computer. Could you help me?

Hi @Chengruili,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand your HP All‑in‑One 22‑DG0034 doesn’t have a built-in VESA mount and you’d like to add an adapter for a monitor arm. Let’s go through a few steps to find the right adapter and make sure it’s installed correctly.

1. Check for existing mounting points

Look at the back of the all-in-one unit to see if there are any threaded holes or removable back cover panels.

Some AIO models hide the VESA mount points under plastic covers or detachable flaps, so gently inspect for any removable piece.

2. Confirm the adapter specification

HP offers VESA mount adapters for their devices; see the HP accessories page for “VESA mount adapters for monitors”. HP

For HP AIOs like your 22-DG0034, third-party brackets have been listed that convert them to the standard 100×100 mm VESA mount. Etsy+1

You’ll need to verify the exact bracket model that fits your unit — check the description of the adapter for compatibility with “HP All-in-One 22 / 24-inch” series. Etsy

3. Measure or inspect the mounting area

If there are no visible VESA holes, measure the spacing between any mounting studs or screw holes on the back of your unit.

If you find holes spaced around 100 mm horizontally and vertically (100×100 mm), that’s standard VESA size.

If the spacing is different or holes are absent, you’ll need a custom bracket designed for your model.

4. Select a compatible adapter and install

Choose an adapter that states compatibility with HP All-in-Ones in the 22″ size range (such as “HP All-in-One 22 / 24 PC/Monitor VESA Adapter”). Etsy

Follow the adapter’s kit instructions:

Remove any back panel or stand necessary.

Attach the adapter using the provided screws and washers.

Ensure the adapter is secured firmly before mounting the arm.

Mount your monitor arm to the adapter once it’s installed and confirm that the AIO is safely held.

5. Check stability and cable routing

After mounting, check that the AIO doesn’t tilt or shift when touched lightly — if it does, tighten screws or reassess the bracket fit.

Ensure cables (power, display, USB) are routed safely and not under strain due to the new position.

I hope this helps.
