OMEN by HP Obelisk Desktop PC - 875-0141
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, this computer came with a single 16GB RAM stick. I would like to add another 16GB by just getting the same stick this computer has. The device specifications page in the HP Support Assistant only says 16GB Kingston 2666MHz. The product page says HyperX 16 GB, Speed: PC4-21300 MB/s, Type: DDR4-2666. Do I need to match model numbers as well, or can I just get a HyperX stick that matches that speed and type?

@elock1 , welcome to the Community.

I suggest that you use CPU-Z to determine the manufacturer and timings of the current memory: https://download.cnet.com/CPU-Z/3000-2086_4-10050423.html

This information is in the Tab titled "SPD".  Once you have this information you should try to match the current memory module exactly.  The motherboard has "Dual channel memory architecture" which means that you will get the best performance from the memory with a matching pair.
