I want to add a SATA Drive in the second slot. What cables must I use, as the second slo has one cab

@Moorings141 , welcome to the Community.

 

You will need a SATA data cable that will plug into one of the extra SATA ports on the motherboard.  You can use a cable with two straight ends or in some configurations a cable with one straight end and one 90 degree angle:

The cable that came with the computer should be a SATA power cable that is connected to the power supply unit (PSU).

Thank you for your quick response, much appreciated. I am today currently speaking directly to HP and my query is being escalated, as the person states that the Omen30L cannot have a another drive!!!

 

Not sure why that would be, but I am waiting for the return call for the answer. I will come back to you when I have an answer. Thank you for the links to the cables.
