Ryzen 5 M01-F0024
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Have a new ryzen 5 hp desktop. Has 256g ssd storage. Would like to add a hard drive to it.  Is there a sata connection on the erica2 motherboard to do this and a power connection available for the drive from the power supply?

thanks

Hey,  as it turns out there was a sata cable and power to add the hard drive. The drive fit on the bracket in the pc but after screwing it in i realized it road too high to get the lid back on.  Repositioned lower and used the checker board holes in the bracket to re attach  Fired it up and the pc saw it as drive E  Habe attached pics of the motherboard and the hard drive installed (on the position it was too high in)

The HP M01-0024 specifications are shown here.

Because the link to the Erica motherboard picture is "broken" ERROR 404, I am unable to view it.  Please remove the power cord and do the following, reporting back.  The current specs list are  1) M.2 device, 256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ SSD,     2) DVD drive.   3) 180W PSU.

About the PSU:  it supplies power to the motherboard (main and auxillary, and fan.  Only the 400W and 500W units have a 6+2 PCIe power plug.  The motherboard supplies DVD and drive power.

I would really like a few pictures, full view of board, and the rear of the unit.

1) Follow the DVD drive power and SATA data cables to the motherboard.

2) There should be a 2x2 HDD power header and 2 unused SATA data headers.     The power cable is likely missing as you bought a model without a hard drive.   This is the cable,

You would need a 3.5" to 2.5" drive caddy to install a 2.5" SSD drive.
