I'm not very familiar with upgrading PCs, but I have this one question to ask.

Can you add an additional SSD to this model: https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c06090118

It says PC has "Expansion Slots:

  • One M.2 socket 1, 2230 type for WLAN
  • One M.2 socket 3, 2280 type for SSD"

but is this M.2 socket 3 already in use or not? Or what options I have to add more hard drive space, because 256 GB is not enough for me.

@Saija

Hello,

Of course, your computer is already equipped with an NVMe M.2 SSD in the slot you specified where the 256GB SSD is already installed.

So it is possible for you to install a second 1TB 3.5" hard drive in your computer.

Do not hesitate to contact us in case of need.
