The fan is making a progressively louder whirling noise, although the computer is running at 1-3% power.
System diagnosis came back perfectly fine, so I'm not sure how else I can fix it. Updated BIOS and all other pertinent updates.
Everything I've read about so far indicates that I might need to replace the fan (potentially bad bearings), but is there anything else I can do? Fan part is unavailable through HP or any suggested retailer.
Thank you

I checked the fan and there isn't any dust on/in it. Could it just be that the bearings are messed up? Also, I called Impact and they don't have the part - any other suggestions on where to get a replacement fan?
