This is an answer for people looking for information on the screws to use for MXM graphics cards in HP Compaq 8200/8300 Elite USDT/Ultra-slim Desktop PCs. After much searching the following screws worked for me: M1.7 x 5 with M2 washers. These screws have an outside thread diameter of 1.7 mm and are 5 mm long. 4 to 6 mm length should work. As the heads of the screws were too small for the holes in my MXM card I had to use M2 (2 mm inside diameter) washers. To install the screws with washers I found I had to temporarily use a tiny spot of super glue to hold the washers in place on the board while I inserted the screws. To avoid using washers I would try searching for M1.7 x 5 mm "big head" screws - I was not able to find them. Why they didn't use more common size screws is beyond me.

My solution seems to work well. I hope this information is of use to others to save time searching.
