I need to know were the wire from the power switch plugs into the motherboard,. The wire pulled loose and I cannot find the socket to plug it into.

@Dwhammack -- the now-loose connector probably has TWO wires, leading into ONE plastic end, not just ONE wire.

 

Take a really-close look at the tiny printing on the motherboard, for a pair of pins labelled "PWR" or "POWER".

Those two pins could be part of a 2-by-5 or 2-by-6 group of pins.
