Product: HP Z620 Workstation
I have 2 1tb WD drives in RAID 1 [Configured in the RST menu] and i decided to unplug their cables from the 6gb SATA ports and into the 3gb ones so i can plug my Samsung SSD in one of the 6gb ones. The RST config status is rebuilding. Do i need to do something about the array or will it automatically work after a while?

It should be fine, but there is no guarantee of it.
Redundancy is a good thing.
