Omen Desktop PC-880-160se
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi community. I have the Omen Desktop PC-880-160se. It came with a internal 512 gb ssd and a 2 tb spinning drive. I want to add a internal 1 tb Samsung SSD to use as a working drive for video and photo editing.  the PECIE one but I do not know if my computer has a spare spot for this type of SSD or if it will support the technology of this ssd. This is what I am interested in:

Samsung 970 EVO SSD 1TB - M.2 NVMe Interfac Internal Solid State Drive with V-NAND Technology (MZ-V7E1T0BW), Black/Red

Thank you!

@Carlwilson29,

Thank you for your detailed inquiry.

1) Here is your system with all options    it only has 1 SSD NVMe M.2 slot.

2) It does have spare SATA hard drive combination bays (3.5 or 2.5 SSD) , see manual    page 9, and 18.

3) If you only intend to have 1 GPU card, it is possible to use the second   with this.    Call or email the manufacturer to verify EVO 970 NVMe compliance.

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..
