Product: HP ProDesk 400 G2 Microtower PC
Hello, everyone.
My desktop computer sends 8 beeps to PC-Speaker, it means, that BIOS is corrupted.
BootBlock Emergency Recovery Mode is looking for a disk with a BIOS firmware file.
I downloaded the data and threw it on a USB stick. The computer detected them and booted into BIOS Recovery Mode, but hung at 0%. I left it overnight, tried previous firmware versions, another USB flash drive and file system. I tried to remove the PSWD jumper on the motherboard and press the CMOS button, but the result is always the same. Zero percent. There are no other PC boot modes, because the BIOS used is damaged.
Does anyone have any idea what else to try?
