Battery plummets

I bought the HP Pavilion x360 almost a year ago now. My battery was working fine at the beginning, where I could go almost a whole day without having to charge. Now my battery will slowly go from 100% battery to 50%, and then around 50% it will shut off. When I start charging it, it says it's starting at around 10%. Is this because I use my laptop while I charge it? Do I already have to get a new battery and does this happen more often?

(1) Run    msinfo32
