Product: HP 22-c0052nf + HP 20-c406ns
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We have an HP 22-c0052nf + serial number [edit]bios update works
but the bios download is always , an update , the bios language French
And also.
We have an HP 20-c406ns + serial number [edit]bios update also works
and here is the download every time , an update , the bios language Spanish

HP support requires the serial number - then bios update download language automatically French / Spanish
We do NOT want this - French or Spanish - but YES an update download file , with bios update in ENGLISH

How to solve this problem - obtain two other serial numbers or ?

I understand that the Bios update download file is in  French / Spanish language.

 

Don't worry I will try to help you out.

 

Did you make any software or hardware changes on your PC?

 

Please try the steps recommended below.

 

Restart the Unit and keep tapping the F10 Key.
 
After you log into BIOS Setup, move to 4th Tab on the right and press Enter key.
 
This should bring up the language menu and you will be able to change it accordingly.

 

After performing the steps try to download the BIOS and check.

No language menu on HP 22-c0052n / HP 20-c406ns with :
F10 Key.+ 4th Tab on the right and press Enter key

The bios language on 22-c0052n / HP 20-c406ns is a visionary circle.
To download the bios , HP MUST have the serial number and
THIS serial number MANDATORY the language choice of the bios

 

Decision: With a new bios download, no FREE bios language choice

 

HP 22-c0052nf + serial number 8CC85120CH for ALWAYS French bios !
HP 20-c406ns + serial number 8CC9092QV8 for ALWAYS bios Spanish !

1 - Who has an HP 22-c0052nf with English-language bios !
    - Please reply with your serial number - Thank you

2 - Who has an HP 20-c406ns with English-language bios !
    - Please reply with your serial number - Thank you

 

Other solution - reliability not yet tested!
