HP All-in-one 27-dp0007nf
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

as a professional, I bought 7 HP All-in-one 27-dp0007nf to renew the office of a client. As I was going through the pre-setup before delivery, I discovered all the HP All-in-one 27-dp0007nf I bought have a constant noise fan that, in an office environement, is just impossible to accept.

1) The machines are new (just out of the package).

2) They got fully updated (Windows & drivers / bios from HP)

3) All of them make this noise.

Solutions I tried :

1) Removed everything from Windows startup (It just can't be lighter, nothing is running except the system ! And the CPU is pretty much idling under 10%.

2) Modified energy policy for passive CPU cooling

What I discovered :

1) The HP All-in-one 27-dp0007nf makes this noise even while idling in the bios.

2)  While doing absolutely nothing, sensor shows that the CPU is already around 50-55°C in all of them.

3)  Bios gives the indication that the fan runs ALL THE TIME between 1000RPM and 1500RPM.

4) My wild guess is that it has a bad thermal dissipation design and not much can be done about it.

I just can't deliver this product to my client, for the complains will be against me. What solutions do I have ?
