I received my new PC yesterday. First thing I did was try to clone the included 3.5" HDD to a new SSD, but in the process, accidentally cloned everything to the included NVMe SSD. Now, whenever I boot my PC, it boots from the NVMe instead of the HDD. I've tried to reclone everything multiple times but to no avail, and in fact was showing the incorrect capacity (the lower capacity of the NVMe, instead of the 1TB it's supposed to have). The first few times I tried, it did boot Windows on the HDD, but it was extremely slow and sluggish (it's a 7200RPM HDD, it shouldn't be painfully slow, taking multiple minutes just to process putting in my windows passcode). I contacted support, and they walked me through the entire HP Recovery process. When I tried recovering with the HDD as the bootloader, I was getting a blue screen error (Said "PC/Device needs repaired. A required device isn't connected or can't be accessed.") The HDD is recognized by the PC in all areas (and with the correct capacity) including Device Manager, Storage Settings, and This PC. The NVMe SSD worked perfectly fine booting the PC after recovery. Now, the HDD is not even showing up in the bootloader. I've abandoned the idea of switching the HDD to an SSD, but my new goal is just to have the system files and C: on the HDD and have the NVMe as extra storage for games and etc. I'm trying to solve this without needing to send the PC in for repair. Any ideas?

I am a bit hard pressed to understand why you would want a legacy HDD to be your boot device.
