OMEN 25L Desktop PC GT12-1000a (ID 1Z1C0AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought the omen about a month ago, but a lot of problems arise till now.

First of all windows installed by HP doesn't work with Sleep.

Then the light hub doesn;t change color anymore.

I decide get another GPU. When I toke the GPU out, I had to press the lever. The lever just crumbled like a cracker.
Is the plastic that cheap for a gaming PC?

I decide to upgrade my CPU as well, now with everything put back together.
I got an driver error relate to XHCI usb error 10.

The Front USBs and the back USB 2.0 Stopped working, one of the USB c also stopped working.

Now the wifi bluetooth combo chip decide to only let me use WIFI, but no bluetooth is shown on device manager.

I have a suspicion that the cheap motherboard just start to fall apart. the quality of material just won't stand the stress this gaming pc creates  OR I got a bad luck unit.

My question now is, after all the additions I have done for my PC, will my warranty still cover this bad luck unit and have it replaced at free of charge?

Useful info regarding to the unit:

Thanks for the link.

From what I have read, basically warranty is limited. The buyer has a certain extend of configuration to the unit.

Where the gray area lies is if the unit arrived with faulty material that will break when interacted. HP wont cover warranty because buyer is not a service agent.

In that case this will be my last prebuilt from HP at least.

Not worth the hassle and money, compare to a custom build. Where each individual part has a rich warranty to itself. For the reason, i am really disappointed.

Hopefully someone at HP can clarify if I miss understood this.

It's clear
if you break, hp may not support computer for free
All I can advise you is to put everything back to the original, and contact your dealer.

From what I understand, you say that a part is broken, when changing, okay?
for you it is the material which is of poor quality, ok!
but we will most certainly say that the user did not pay attention
I'm sorry if that's the case, but it's like this
try as I tell you to see this with your reseller, if you have not bought it from hp

Thanks for the further input.

It is too bad that this is the case , in deed. More than not, good lesson to not buy modular components in prebuilt.
The warranty on separate components is just better and more understanding to the clients. Instead of benefiting the seller.

I will disclose this thread. Thank you all for the input.
