Built-in webcam quality fuzzy/grainy

HP Envy 32" AiO
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I recently purchased an HP Envy 32" All-in-one and have found the webcam quality to be very grainy/fuzzy, almost like there is a bit of a static layer over the image. I've done all my system updates, tried uninstalling an reinstalling the device, played around with settings, double checked that I didn't leave any removable film over the camera lens, but the quality remains the same. I did reach out to support and their recommendation was a factory reset of the machine. This seemed a bit much, so asking for any additional support before following that more last resort option approach.

Thanks!

Have you tired a very simple step: give more light to the object ?

Regards.

@Banhien

Thanks for the input, but the grainy-ness/visual noise unfortunately persists in both low and higher/normal light conditions.

Hi, revisiting this thread since my issue is not yet resolved. As my previous post said, even with more light, there is still visual noise/image looks low quality. Adding an example that shows the noise.
