HP ProDesk 400 G5 MT
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, my PC has 2x8 GB, but I would rather have 32 instead of 16, si I would like to add 2x8. The issue is finding compatible memory. In the past, twice I bought memory of the right type for my previous PC, and it was not accepted so I had to return it.

For this model, I see RAM specification says DDR4 16 GB 2666 4 DIMM. Will any DDR4 2666 MHz which I will find at Aliexpress or similar be compatible with HP ? If not, how can I determine if the RAM is compatible ?

Buying memory modules from ALIEXPRESS??

I wouldn't do that. Any money you spend  on RAM there will be a gamble. If the memory doesn't work, it will take forever to exchange it and then the gamble starts all over again. And first and foremost, will the vendors on AliExpress guarantee compatibility?

Do yourself the favor of using guaranteed compatible memory from well known manufacturers. Save yourself some time and frustration.
