I'm really sorry the USB dongle for your HP CS10 wireless keyboard and mouse combo is missing—that’s incredibly frustrating, especially when everything else is ready to go. 

 

Unfortunately, this combo relies on a proprietary 2.4 GHz receiver, and without it, the devices won’t function.

 

Here’s what you can do next:

1. Check the packaging and battery compartments

Sometimes the dongle is tucked inside the mouse’s battery bay or hidden in the box insert.

  • Open the mouse battery compartment and inspect for a small USB receiver
  • Recheck the original packaging, especially under flaps or inside cardboard folds

 

2. Replacement dongles are not sold separately

The CS10 combo uses a non-universal paired dongle, meaning it’s factory-matched to your keyboard and mouse. Generic or third-party receivers won’t work.

  • HP does not offer standalone replacement dongles for this model
  • The only reliable solution is to replace the full combo set

3. Alternative: Switch to Bluetooth or wired options

If you need an immediate solution:

  • Consider a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse if your PC supports it
