Hi I hear clicking sounds I think coming from my PSU. It happens once in a while maybe 3 minutes to 30 minutes apart. Just incase is there an exact replace for it. Dimensions and power.  CT: 5CSFB0G4D4M43P hp psu

I don't think I need to do that because I think you're correct. Sound is coming from HDD. My side panel is open.  Thank you. 

I need to get a new HDD fast and mirror image it. 🙂

@mehere2,

Clicks are usually from the hard drive.  So you test the theory.

If your confident with opening the side panel:

1) unplug power cord from chassis. (rear).

2) Unplug power lead to hard drive.

3) Replug power lead to chassis. (rear).

4) Turn on computer. It will not boot, but the PSU will run. Listen.
