HP Pavilion 690-0067c

Hi, I currently have a 690-0067c HP Pavilion gaming desktop with a sunflower motherboard. I am wondering if I could upgrade the graphics card from a RX 550 to a RX 580 or a GTX 1060.

@old_geekster,

Sorry I was looking it up.

@TommyNo,

You can use the HP     L04618-800    400W PSU with a GTX 1060 with that motherboard. It has been proven.

Caveat and request:

1) Close up picture of the back of your unit, with existing 310W PSU still installed.  Want to see the bolt pattern.

2) Close up picture of the back of your unit, with existing 400 W PSU  Want to see the bolt pattern.

3) Close up picture of both PSU (rear view) by side by side comparison.

4) The 400W PSU needs a better airflow that the Sunflower case allowed. You will likely have to dremel out the rear so the PSU fan can fully exhaust.

PS<> here is a video of a HP 690 Sunflower with the 500W PSU being installed.
