Can a cupertino2 H61Ivy Bridge mobo work with a Xeon E3-1290 v2?

Hi everyone

As you can see

this Xeon processor "sits" in the same FCLGA1155 socket. Yes, I know it uses ECC memory for correcting parity errors. Is it possible also to use ECC DDR3 DIMM 240 RAM in the same memory slots. Yes, I know the BIOS should be upgraded because it is not going to expect a Xeon "normally", but maybe searching in Foxconn mobo models.

I did not watch the video, but we can see from the start that it is not the same motherboard, and that it is not an additional HP model

There is the list of compatible processors given for this motherboard
A big risk that it will not work, therefore, bios up to date or not!

  • Socket type: LGA 1155
  • TDP: 35W up to 95W (processor dependent)
  • Motherboard supports the following processor upgrades:
    • Core i3-2xxx/T dual core
    • Core i3-2xxx dual core
    • Core i5-2xxx quad core
    • Core i7-2xxx quad core
    • Core G5xx/T dual core
    • Core G6xx/T dual core

do not waste too much time and money on a computer that is almost 10 years old
