Hi! @Harrym29, Welcome to HP forums.

I understand you would like to know if you can upgrade the graphics card on your PC to GTX 1050 ti.

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

Please share the product number of your PC to assist you better.

Excellent description and a great diagnosis done. It is greatly appreciated.

I have checked the product specifications of your PC and your PC has one x16 PCIe slot express version 2.0.

You cannot install a GTX 1050ti graphics card on this PC as it needs PCIe 3.0 bus support. But your PC was shipped with a PCIe 2.0 bus support.

So you can only use  x16 (Gen2.0) graphics card on your PC.

You can search in google for x16 2.0 graphics card upgrade.

Also, if you are upgrading the graphics card you might have to upgrade the power supply too on your PC.

Refer the graphics card specifications from NVIDIA website more information. Click Here

Also, refer the system specifications of your PC to know more information. Click Here

Hope this answers your query!

Happy Holidays! 🙂
