Solved: Can i ulgrade my HP Pavilion 590-p0001nj to 500watt PSU - HP Support Community

An official answer is needed.

I would like to upgrade my PSU to HP 500watt psu + replace my display card to GTX 1660 mini (which requires at least 450watt psu )

Does a 500watt hp psu will work properly on

HP Pavilion 590-p0001nj

so you need L05757-800 500w power supply

you definitely won't get an "official" answer here..
But other users have already performed this type of replacement successfully

Thanks for your answer.

I have seen one person, "forcing" the 500watt on similar machine. ( as the case is not fitting the upside-down electric input)

and i understand there is no issue to apply 500w with this motherboard.

Can i ulgrade my HP Pavilion 590-p0001nj to 500watt PSU
