Hello there. I’m having an issue with my 3-in-1 memory card reader trying to copy photos onto SD cards. Basically, when I try to copy photos, I get the message “This disk is write protected.” The memory card is unlocked as well is other memory cards that I have tried. I get the same message every time. Yet, when I stick an SD card reader into a USB port on my system, I don’t get any messages and everything copies over successfully.
It’s the built in memory card reader where I’m having the issue. My system is an HP Envy TE01-1022. Any help would be appreciated. I don’t want to be using the external card reader all the time.
