OMEN 25L GT11-1466no
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey HP community,

I just received the 'OMEN 25L GT11-1466no' (https://support.hp.com/lv-en/document/c07637127) computer I ordered.
I'm facing a pretty sad issue, I bough an extra M.2 ssd but I can't find the extra slot that should be available...

The motherboard is this one,

      https://support.hp.com/rs-en/document/c07056168

which shows it  has two M.2 slots for SSD's

  • One PCI Express 4.0 x16 lanes
  • One PCI Express 3.0 x1 lanes
  • One M.2 socket 1, key A
  • Two M.2 socket 3, key M (one for SSD card PCIe x4 Gen 3

So it should be good, but once opened, impossible to put my hands around this M.2 slot !
Am I missing something ?

Here some pictures :

Thanks in advance !

@Grugo -- it's impossible for me to see "under" the GEFORCE card.

On the bottom-right of the motherboard, I see:

1. white-coloured circle

2. two white pieces, at the edges of one M.2 socket

3. white rectangle, which could be a WiFi adapter card -- could this be the "type A" socket?

Can you remove the GEFORCE, and take another picture?

@Itsmyname,

Alright, great call, I didn't wanted to believe it was under the GPU because upon touching there was absolutely no 'free' space.

Well well well:

The M.2 port was just protected under a hood 😐

That now generates one new question from me:
* Should I put back this 'hood' on top of the added SSD to protect it from the GPU ? Or is it just OK as it is like that:

In any case, really big thank you 😉
