The software for the RTX card is installed after the new card is in place. You have a power issue, and an understanding issue. I asked you to confirm that the GTX 1060 was working with the new 1000W PSU.
BTW<>when you were doing all these steps, while you were removing or inserting a GPSU card, was the power cord still plugged into the computer?

Do you have any suggestions as to how to fix my power issue? I had assumed when you corrected my installation process it was you giving me a suggestion as to how to fix the issue, I apologize for misunderstanding.

Sorry ..
I would have liked to be able to continue this discussion with you @Devin1250 ..
Only, I'm in France, there is a time difference and I have to work to live, and feed my family.
I regret a little the turn of this thread all the same ..
That said, unfortunately we could no longer seem to test the old power supply.
After all, if the old graphics card works with the new power supply also connected with the same pci 6 + 2pin power socket!
The problem probably comes from the graphics card!
Personally I do not find any particular installation error in what you have described.
The only thing left to do is to try this card with someone where you are certain that it should work, not simple!
Still sorry, I generally like to follow a subject from A to Z and to be able to help find a solution, but it is too difficult here!
