OMEN by HP Desktop PC 880
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have two 2TB drives in the top drive bays and neither can be accessed.  They don't show up in Device Manager, Disk Management, or Hard Disk Sentinel.  Both drives were working when removed from service.

@imjohn
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • When was the last time it worked fine?
  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?

While you respond to that, let's try these steps:

Set BIOS default and restart:

  1. Restart your desktop.
  2. During startup, press F10 repeatedly until the BIOS menu is displayed.
  3. Once the BIOS menu is displayed, press F9 to restore factory defaults.
  4. Select Yes to confirm.
  5. Press F10 to save changes and exit.
  6. Select Yes to confirm.
  7. The computer restarts using the default settings.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
