HP Pavilion Desktop PC TP01-2000i (1K4B7AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I want to install another, larger, M.2 SSD. The specs say there are 2 M.2 slots, I is occupied with the 256 GB boot SSD that came with the machine. I cannot find the 2nd one. Any ideas?

Hi:

There are many different model numbers under that product number.

HP Pavilion Desktop PC TP01-2000i (1K4B7AV) Product Information | HP® Customer Support

They all appear to have the same Stark motherboard model.

HP Desktop PCs - Motherboard Specifications, Stark | HP® Customer Support

According to the motherboard, specs, there is one slot for a M.2 SSD and one slot for a M.2 Wi-Fi adapter.

  • One PCI Express Gen 3 x16
  • One PCI Express Gen 3 x1
  • Two M.2 expansion slots
    • One M.2 socket 1, Key A - This is for the Wi-Fi adapter only.
    • One M.2 socket 3, Key M, (2280/2242) - This is for the NVMe SSD.

I do not see an option for two M.2 slots for SSD's.
