Hi all, thanks in advance
At present i have 256GB of RAM on my Z820, can I use them on Z840???
Are RAM's from Z820 compatible with Z840??

@Manu96 , welcome to the forum.

 

According to the specifications for both workstations, the Z820 requires ECC DDR3-1600 memory and the Z840 requires ECC DDR4-2133 memory.  Therefore, the memory is not interchangeable.
