Hello,

 I own an HP Victus 15L Gaming Desktop TG02. I'm looking to upgrade my GPU from a  GTX 1660 Super to something more powerful. My primary option at the moment is an MSI Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 VENTUS 2X OC 8 GB, but I'm not quite sure

1) Whether or not it will fit in the chassis, and

2) If the computer's power source is powerful enough to handle the GPU.

@duck38,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

Your GTX 1660 Super has a 125-watt TDP and requires one 8-pin PCIe power cable. Your PC either has a 310-watt or a 400-watt power supply -which one is it?

An RTX 5060 has a 145-watt TDP and requires a 400-watt power supply. Most importantly, though, is that some HP gaming PCs are not compatible with RTX 50xx cards.

So, I need to know what wattage power supply you got, and what model HP Victus 15L Gaming Desktop TG02 you got (0xxx, 1xxx or 2xxx).

Kind Regards,
