HP Slim Desktop PC S01-aF1000i (8MY20AV)

Hi,

I hope you can help me with a question. I came across some items on this Amazon Wishlist:https://www.amazon.in/hz/wishlist/ls/1EM5LPWG1QNCW?ref_=wl_share .

Can you confirm if the items listed in this Wishlist are compatible with my HP Slim Desktop PC S01-aF1000i?

Thank you in advance for your help!

@ad194,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

Yes, these items are indeed compatible with your HP Slim Desktop PC S01-aF1000i.

The SATA SSD can be installed either using your motherboard's "SATA0" or "SATA1" data ports and powered by a SATA 15-pin power cable which your desktop should have available.

The RAM is exactly the right kind: DDR4 SODIMM 2666 MHz.

Kind Regards,

Thank you for your assistance. Could you please clarify one more thing? I opened the CPU and noticed two slots; however, only one of them has a clip for the RAM. Does this mean the other slot is unusable?

@ad194,

That is affirmative: your desktop only has one (1) RAM slot.  I assumed you were going to swap a 4GB with an 8GB RAM stick.
