Hello there,

 

I am experiencing a recurring issue with my HP printer and could really use some help. I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 8600; which has been a reliable machine for a while. Although, over the past few weeks, I have been facing frequent connection problems.

 

The printer intermittently disconnects from my Wi-Fi network; leading to a Printer Offline status on my computer.
The problem occurs multiple times a day, disrupting my workflow and causing frustration.


I  have tried restarting both the printer and the router, re-installing the printer drivers; and ensuring that the printer firmware is up to date. Additionally, I have checked the network settings and confirmed that other devices are connecting to the Wi-Fi without issues.


Despite these efforts, the problem persists. I have also noticed that the printer connection issues seem to be more frequent when the network is under heavy use; which makes me wonder if there could be a bandwidth-related problem.

Are there any additional troubleshooting steps I might have missed?
Could this issue be related to the printers settings or the routers configuration?
