OMEN X by HP Desktop PC - 900-077na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Lately my Omens cpu has been overheating doing the simplest of tasks ie unzipping an item using 7zip.The fans kick in but the get really loud and sound like a jet. This has never happened before. I have checked the fans and cleaned where relevant, put new heatsink paste on the cpu and there are no issues withair flow. I have the run the Hp diagnostic tools and they are showing no issues. Has anyone experienced the same issues and overcome them if so how.

Many thanks in advance

Hi KrazyToad,

Many thanks for your reply, I have installed all the latest updates including the bios and this seems to have not resolved the issue. I have a video I took of the pc when the issue was running to see if this may help but I dont have permissions to upload can you please advise.
