DESKTOP M01-F0033W

AFTER ADDING 32 GB OF RAM (OLOY BRAND) THE RAM SPEED WAS ONLY AT 2133 MHZ.

ADVERTISED SPEED IS 3200 MHZ.

BING AUTO PILOT SAYS THAT SPEED HAS BEEN REDUCED TO JEDEC SPEED BY A BIOS SETTING (2133 MHZ)

PROBLEM IS THAT THERE IS NO SUCH SETTING ON THE BIOS FOR THIS PC.

GENERALLY, IN BIOS> SOMETHING LIKE [MEMORY SETTING] SOMETHING LIKE > [DRAM CONFIGURATION] OR > [ADVANCED MEMORY SETTING].

AUTOPILOT SAYS TO SET THE XMP PROFILE TO PROFILE 1 OR XMP 1.

WHEN I TOLD AUTOPILOT THAT THE BIOS HAD NO SUCH SELECTION, IT SAID TO CONTACT HP FOR ADVICE.

SOME HP BOARDS WILL HAVE THE MEMORY SETTINGS "NOT DIRECTLY EXPOSED"

ANY SOLUTION??

most consumer systems sold from the major "OEM's" will not expose any overclocking options in their bios as the sellers do not want  to deal with the associated support calls from people causing non booting systems when the change the settings

your 2133 speed is the correct "JDEC" speed  the 3200 speed is a overclocked setting

and for your system your not really missing that much as percentage wise 2133 vs 3200 ram performance will depend on the mem module timings between each speed setting and usually most generic 3200 modules have much higher wait states than the 2133 modules
