Product: HP Pavilion 510-p000 Desktop PC series
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi - I have a DVD RW drive in my desktop PC, and the model number is DU8AESH.  It is broken, and I need to find an appropriate replacement.  I can't find that model number in the parts store.  Can anyone tell me which drive I should get to replace the original?

You need to be specific.  Saying hp 510 p000 de is too vague.  What is the exact model?

The part number you mentioned is an ultra thin 9.5mm DVD RW found in laptops.

 

The HP 510 slimline m odfel p030 has the following:

849055-6C0 DVD - 8X SMD 9.5 UST NoBzl HLDS

849055-FC0 DVD - 8X SMD 9.5 UST NoBzl TSST    

849055-HC0 DVD - 8X SMD 9.5 UST NoBzl PLDS

853885-800 DVD - GNRC, ODD DVDSM 9.5 Slim Tray RAZR    

861698-021 DVD - SMD, Shave2, Silver

 

The DU 8AESH references the PLDS version.
