HP ENVY desktop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just bought this HP ENVY desktop last week, and have noticed several times, seemingly at random, the computer/desktop unit (not via speakers, but the computer itself) emits a run of about 8-10 medium volume but high pitched beeps in a row. I have updated everything (including a BIOS update via the HP support app), and still noticed it once after that.

 

Should I be concerned this is a sign of a bigger problem with this unit? How can I troubleshoot this and solve the issue? I want to figure this out soon in case I have to return/exchange the computer. Thanks.

I don't quite understand the frequency ..

But in general it is a sign of a hardware problem, and there is a need for repair / replacement of parts.
I would advise you to contact the after sales service quickly!
