Difference between 690-0022na 16GB Optane Memory and 795-0006na with 128Gb SSD Driive

HP Recommended
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am looking to replace my home use HP Windows7 i5 dual core desktop with either a Pavilion 690-0022na or an Envy 795-0006na, which run Win10 OS.

I am confused about Optane  vs SSD, which would be best for internet browsing, stand alone Office 2019 (not subscription version) and playing Steam Train Simulator 2019, the lower specification not the latest Train Sim Worlds, bells and whistles version.

Thank Yoe

@Graham31 , welcome to the forum.

Here is a good article and video that will tell you about Intel Optane Memory.  From what I know, it appears to be specialized and not for everyone.  I can tell you that a M.2 SSD is as fast as I need to go.  I am a gamer.  The computer boots fast and the games load fast, as well.  Read the article and watch the video at the end of the page by HardwareCanucks.  He is very knowledgeable.  Then, you will be able to decide which you think is better for you.
