280 G2 SFF
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

According to information in download page, SP110513 should contain BIOS version F.28 (BIOS family 82C9) , but contains different BIOS image (family P04, version 02.34) and is not applicable on 280 G2 SFF.

Previous version F.27 (SP108794) downloadable from the same page (in section Revision history) works on 280 G2 SFF without problems.

The problem seems to be in HPWINGUI.EXE (packed inside each SP), SP110513 has the same one as SP110512 (which has description BIOS P04/2.34). Nevertheless, after unpacking SP110513, it is possible to do BIOS update anyway by:

- mounting ESP (mountvol x: /s)

- copying extracted files to ESP (copy c:\swsetup\sp110513\82C9* x:\efi\hp\bios\new\)

- unmounting ESP (mountvol x: /d)

- restarting OS and booting to diagnostics (F2), then selecting Firmware management and the BIOS gets updated
