I'm buying a 2.5 inch SSD and want to know if I have a 2.5 inch slot in my Slimline 260-p009. Or is it the 3.5 inch variety?

You need mounting bracket to keep 2.5" HDD or SSD in place. They are very cheap, from few dollars to 10.

It is a 3.5" SATAIII drive.
