Product: Hp elitedesk 800 g2

Hi could I ubgrade an hp elitedesk 800 g2 from an i7 6th gen to an i7 7th gen and will it give me any errors ? Thank you !

Hi:

 

Your PC only supports the Intel 6th gen core processors.

 

If you install an Intel 7th gen core processor, I do not believe the PC will even boot up.

I recommend you start a new topic on that because I don't know if you can use aftermarket coolers on the motherboard.
