I need the part number for the 500 watt power supply. The video card that came in the pc when we ordered it was not the correct card and now we need to upgrade. I tried contacting hp and they could not help me. Does anyone with a Envy 795-0030qd with a 500 watt be willing to help.

Welcome back to the forum.
I am not an HP employee.
There is very little information available for your product. It is very new to market.
Guessing the PSU that shipped with your PC is not going to power an upgraded graphics card. HP will usually match the PSU to the factory CTO graphics cards available at purchase.
I don't know why HP Support can't direct you to a more powerful PSU. What did HP tell you?
Your PC is not yet present when checking HP PartSurfer. This site would be the place to check for higher wattage HP PSUs. Or check the HP Parts Store.
Your PSU may not be a standard ATX power supply. The MB power and PSU fan connections may be proprietary. 790 series HP PCs are using non-standard PSUs. Your 795 system may also have this type PSU.
You may be waiting a long time to get feedback from an Envy 795-0030qd owner.

Thank you Grzwacz for your insite. I ended up seeking out video cards that run on 400 watt power supplies. HP just gave me the run around. I statrted in their chat room and they he told me to call a number. When I called the number the message on the line said to go to chat for answers. Whe I finally got through to someone they couldnt help me. So HP was not much help. But I believe I am all set. Thanks again.

Your 795 is a CTO PC.
HP offers a 310 watt, a 400 watt, and a 500 watt PSU option.
What do you have now?
The 1060 requires a 400 watt PSU and one six pin connection.
HP makes a 400 watt, part number L04618-800 or a 500 watt, part number L05757-800.
You should be able to buy either at HP Part Surfer (Link).

I contacted HP Parts Surfer on 9/11/19 and placed a order and was given a order number. The order was never processed. I spoke to a human at HPPS on 9/13/19 and explained the situation, he said he was sorry and took my info again and placed the order again. It was never processed. I contacted HP this morning and was told there was a line item issue and because the order associated with my card had two issues, I can't use it at HPPS anymore. There is nothing wrong with my card and the balance is fine. Could you suggest how i might be able to make this purchase from HPPS or suggest someone else who might have the part?

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
