Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

my HP H9 1400ec recently broke. I managed to pinpoint the problem to a broken motherboard. But I can't seem to find out what motherboard does my PC have. Can you please help me?

Not a bother, @netsooncz.

Good for you!!  You have taken the first step to being a computer expert.  Once you get the courage to open the case to look inside, the rest is easy.  Computers are not as scary as we all make them.

It may be that your model had two different motherboards when it was released.  I definitely suggest buying the 696399-002.  It will match everything fully.

@netsooncz , welcome to the forum.

Here is the Motherboard Specifications page for the computer.  It has all of the information that you will need.  However, you will most likely have to find it on ebay or other online websites.

First of all, thank you for your speedy reply. Now, when I search for Formosa motherboards on ebay multiple options appear. These motherboards also have a set of numbers in their name. Are there more kinds of Formosa motherboards? I'm afraid I'll buy a wrong one. And do you think sources on ebay are reliable or do you have a different recomendation? Thanks.

You are welcome, @netsooncz !

Here is the exact motherboard that you need.  I am not certain where you would find it in the Czech Republic.

Sorry for bothering you again but today I gathered up my courage and looked inside of my PC. And on the motherboard label I found "696399-002" and not "664040-002". Now I'm confused. Is there a difference? Which one should I buy? Thanks once again.
