Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

I have an HP ENVY Desktop - Intel Core i7 - 16GB memory - 512GB SSD - Nightfall Black (TE01-1134) Product: 13Z31AA

It has two RAM slots (one available), could someone please direct me to the exact RAM module that I need to add another 16 GB of RAM (total of 32 GB) to this system. There are a ton on popular web sites that might be compatible, but could I get a few inexpensive choices?

Thank you,

Julie

If you get new stick then check if it is (from that parts list I posted  earlier ...."

GNRC RAM UDIMM 16G DDR4 1.2V 3200

note that 'GNRC" is generic or "value ram"

It is possible that the memory speed will drop slightly after adding but remember that 2x  as much data is fetch when in dual channel mode.

Your parts list shows the memory ID to be L93627-800

Unfortunately, that  "HP" part number seems to  be difficult to find

I checked two HP part places and neither had the item

Missing on eBay as well

Please download and run CPU-z

https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html

and copy and paste the image of the "SPD" for example

The above HP Pro 3400 uses "Dual rank"  (2rx8) not single rank and the manufacture and part number are shown

I recommend obtaining an exact duplicate of the memory stick you currently have

here is another example from Area51 where I had to return the single rank I mistakenly bought to get dual rank

You are welcome!

Instead of taking a photo of the screen you can use the windows key, the shift key and the key "S" to capture any part of Windows 10  or 11  screen with the mouse.
