I grabbed an HP victus gaming laptop from Best Buy less than 2 weeks ago. I disconnected the Ethernet cable and it broke the hinge that applies pressure to the cable when connected. Does HP repair this since I have only owned this for less than 2 weeks, or should I just return the computer to BEST BUY ?

You broke it  and that makes it customer induced damage, which is not covered under HP's factory warranty.

Best Buy is unlikely to want to take the bite for the $$ cost to repair it.

You will have to pay out of pocket for the repair.

It broke because of the poor build quality. Watch me go to Best Buy and return this and get my money back.

I wish you the best of luck and that is said in sincerity.
