Hi all

I have HP Pavilion with a MB called: “baseboard 8653 a” when I look it up on the pc.

 

now it only has one 500gb SSD installed, but I really would love to have a second installed. 

is that possible? And what a about warrenty? It’s 1 month Old. 

hope someone can help!

The chassis allows 2 additional hard drives.

This will show locations     A 2.5" will require an adapter tray.    This is the power cable for any HD.

The HD power is supplied from the motherboard.

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..

Thanks for the help! Those extra hard drives are those hdd og SSD? 

If not ssd, do I then to replace the already installed ssd?

Cloning the original NMVe SSD requires at least a USB to NMVe adapter.

The HD bays support SATA 600 3.5" drives. 2.5" SSD SATA 600 drives require an adapter tray.
